Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

Hari Prasad Sharma and his wife Parvati, hailing from their village, decide to visit their son, Dr. Murli, who is the head of a charitable hospital in Mumbai. With the intention of getting Murli married, they meet Dr. Asthana to propose a match for his daughter. However, they are in for a shock when Dr. Asthana informs them that their son is not a qualified doctor, but rather an underworld don known as Munnabhai. Crestfallen, Hari Prasad and Parvati return to their village.

Determined to avenge his parents' humiliation at the hands of Dr. Asthana, Munnabhai swears to enroll in the same institution where Dr. Asthana is the dean and obtain an M.B.B.S. degree. With the help of his right-hand man Circuit and others, Munnabhai gains admission to the college.

While Munna Bhai's skills as a medical doctor are minimal, he transforms those around him through a unique approach he calls the "Magic Hug" - a method of comfort taught to him by his mother. Munna also demonstrates a deep compassion towards those in need, which sets him apart from the college's emphasis on mechanical, impersonal, and often bureaucratic relationships between doctors and patients.
